Yes, that’s correct. I have decided to put on sale my crown jewel and one of the most fascinating instruments made by the hand of man. Why?

I may have some family expenses in the coming two years (hint: I’m in no rush whatsoever to sell) and want to have a “safety cushion”. The 700 is absolutely wonderful and will be missed. It’s one of the things that happen only once in your lifetime. And it did. But as I always hinted, I’m an EMS guy and I might as well end up with the AKS and I’ll still be fine.

It comes with keyboard that has not been pictured. All lids and original connector cables are present. It’s fully functional and we have recorded with it with Pin Park a lot in 2021 and 2022. It will, however be refurbished, recapped and calibrated before sale. If you want it as-is, you are welcome but no discount is to be expected.

Other than this, there’s not much to add. We are talking one of rarest wonders in the kingdom of analogue synths.

Price: please use a well equipped. new Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG as reference. Why? Because I see at least one each day on my way to work and I refuse to accept less for the 700 than what a very nice, ubiquitous luxury SUV costs. Plus I have spent most of my savings on that instruments a few years back and will not entertain lowball offers, sorry. Also, since it’s my private, cherished possession, it will have to be delivered in person and paid on the spot, most likely somwehere in Europe. Of course personal pickup here in Gdansk, Poland, is more than welcome. I will not ship, don’t ask.

If all the above render the deal impossible, I think I can live with the idea of continuing to own a System 700.
